Nicole Martino, DMD
Dr. Nicole Martino is a native Floridian from Fort Lauderdale. She completed her Bachelor of Science in nutrition and Master of Science in medical research at the University of Florida in Gainesville, including two years of dental research with an accompanying thesis for her master’s degree. Continuing her education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, she graduated with her dental degree in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Martino continued to pursue her love of dentistry by completing a three-year residency program in Prosthodontics at UF, graduating in 2018. The specialty of prosthodontics deals with patients of all ages and treatment types, with an emphasis on complex cases requiring extensive rehabilitation of one or both dental arches.
Dr. Martino is trained in all aspects of dental restoration, including fillings, veneers, crowns and bridges on natural teeth or implant-supported, partial or complete dentures alone or implant-supported, and teeth whitening. She is also trained in specialized surgical procedures such as implant placement.
Dr. Martino’s compassionate nature is immediately evident upon arrival. She strives to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere where her patients feel comfortable speaking with her, no matter the issue. As a dental professional, her goal is to restore the form, function and aesthetics of each and every one of her patients’ smiles. Her philosophy is largely based on educating each patient about their unique situation in order for them to fully understand how every decision impacts their oral health and be empowered to take their dental health into their own hands so that they can enjoy healthy and beautiful teeth for a lifetime. Her ultimate goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment and excited about the final result.
She is a member of the American Dental Association®, Florida Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, Florida Prosthodontic Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Team for Implantology. Dr. Martino is board eligible in prosthodontics and is in the process of completing the certification to become a Board Certified specialist. She has published two full-length journal articles, one of which was published in March 2020 in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Martino and her fiancé, Arthur, enjoy spending time with their rescue pets, Apollo (cat) and Mary Kate and Ashley (dogs). Mary Kate and Ashley were adopted in May of 2020 and are sisters who were rescued in the mountains of Puerto Rico. They previously had another dog, Abi, who passed away shortly after Dr. Martino purchased Innovative Dental Solutions of Seminole in January 2020. Dr. Martino enjoys spending time with Arthur and the puppies outside in their backyard while gardening, as well as reading, dancing, singing, traveling, working on DYI home projects, baking, eating at new restaurants and volunteering (both in the community and abroad on dental mission trips).
