During your initial appointment, we’ll discuss your dental concerns, collect the relevant health history and background information, and perform a clinical exam to establish a baseline for care.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Whether your first appointment is for a dental checkup, a consultation, or a second opinion, we do all we can to make your visit a welcoming, informative, and productive experience. At ids, we pride ourselves in taking our time with our patients and being extremely thorough. Because of this, please make sure you set aside at least 2 hours for your first visit. Once we gather the relevant background information, examine your smile and obtain any diagnostic images, we’ll discuss if treatment is required and explain your best options in care.
